Starting your career in therapy is deeply meaningful, but it can also feel complex and isolating. Consultation offers a supportive space to reflect on your clinical work, deepen case conceptualization, and explore the unique challenges that arise as you find your footing in the field.
I offer clinical consultation for students, recent graduates, and practicing therapists (including art and expressive arts therapists) who are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative space to grow.
Consultation may support you with:
🌱 Navigating the transition from student to professional practice
🧩 Case conceptualization and treatment planning
🤝 Navigating complex client dynamics and "imposter syndrome"
⚖️ Ethical questions in early practice
🎨 Integrating creative or expressive approaches into therapy
🧠 Building confidence in your clinical decision-making
My approach is warm, relational, grounded in curiosity, and focused on what would be most supportive to you. Together, we can slow things down, make sense of what is unfolding, and consider possible next steps in your work.
I provide art therapy supervision specifically tailored for practicum students and new professionals seeking registration with the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and the British Columbia Art Therapy Association (BCATA).
This supervision is designed to help you strengthen your clinical confidence and deepen your professional identity as you move from the classroom into the therapy room.
Supervision may support you with:
🔍 Reflecting on clinical work through an art therapy lens
📚 Integrating theory into real-world practice
✨ Exploring client artwork, symbolism, and the creative process
🛠️ Building your "clinical toolkit" and professional identity
📈 Collecting supervision hours toward RCAT & BCATR designations
